Xigris and risk of bleeding out

A male patient in his late 60's was admitted and now diagnosed with septic shock. He is sedated and the family was asked if they would allow Xigris. Does anyone have experience with this?
There is a 5% chance of major bleeding is what they were told.
What could help if this situation were to occur? NovoSeven?
